News May 2009: WassinkLundgren are nominated for Art Amsterdam's Thieme Art Award 2009!

In 2005, Thijs groot Wassink and Ruben Lundgren both graduated from the photography department of the Utrecht School of the Arts, The Netherlands. Since then they have been working together as WassinkLundgren. They currently live, work and study in both London and Beijing.

In their photographic book series, WassinkLundgren (Thijs groot Wassink, born 1981, and Ruben Lundgren, born 1983) take an unique look at a particular aspect of daily life in Shanghai.
